The successful candidate will join a specialized team based in Istanbul, operating within credit risk modelling and advisory projects for financial intermediaries.

The senior consultant will support the project managers in the management of the activities relating to the following areas:.

Development and implementation of risk parameter estimation (PD, LGD, EAD), satellite and ECL (IFRS 9) models;.

Development and implementation of portfolio models (Credit VaR) and stress testing;.

Model validation,.

Credit risk advisory.

Advanced Analytics.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with excellent marks in Economics/Finance, Statistics or Engineering coupled with sound quantitative knowledge.

At least 3-5 years working experience in credit risk modelling.

Proficiency in both verbal and written English.

Practical application of statistical modelling techniques.

Experience of using mathematical/statistical computing software or other data mining skills.

Proficiency and hands-on experience in coding with Python and/orR.

Hands-on academic and/or industry experience on one or more of the frameworks and libraries: pandas, NumPy, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, sci-kit-learn is nice to have.

Excellent Microsoft Office skills e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access.

SOFT SKILLS.

Strong analytical skills with acute attention to detail.

Assertive and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Self-motivated driver of performance.

Time management skills to meet the required deadlines.
