In addition to wire products, MEFA also produces high-volume EPS packaging and insulation products, rubber injection parts, and performs cooker appliance assembly. We are currently seeking an Accounting Specialist to be assigned to our Çukurambar Head Office, with the following qualifications:

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position
• Experience in fixed assets, depreciation, and leasing accounting
• Strong knowledge of tax legislation, cost accounting, Turkish Uniform Chart of Accounts, and general accounting practices
• Familiarity with Revenue Administration (GIB) applications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Knowledge of E-Invoice, E-Archive, and E-Ledger processes
• Experience in balance sheet and financial statement analysis; preferably knowledge of IFRS
• Proficiency in ERP systems; preferably knowledge of SAP FI module
• Advanced level of English (C1 or C2) in reading, writing, and speaking
• Strong analytical, reporting, and presentation skills
• Detail-oriented, analytical, results-driven, and strong follow-up skills
• Strong sense of control and responsibility with analytical thinking ability
• Military service completed (for male candidates)

Job Description

• Enter accounting data, process invoices and waybills in compliance with tax and commercial laws
• Prepare and submit tax declarations (VAT, SCT, Stamp Tax, Withholding Tax, Corporate Tax Advance, etc.) within legal deadlines via the e-declaration system
• Make necessary preparations for independent audit and full certification audit processes
• Conduct period-end closing transactions
• Ensure trial balance controls are performed
• Prepare annual balance sheets and income statements
• Provide support for trade registry procedures and other operational processes involving official institutions and organizations

Experience: 5 – 99 years
Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree (Graduate), Master’s Degree (Student/Graduate), PhD (Student/Graduate)
Military Status: Completed or Exempt
