About the job

As a Production Line Leader, you will report to our Production Manager in Sörmas Plant. The main responsibility of this position is managing and performing work associated with converting from semi-finished good into finished goods in various production areas.  You will be the leader of a team of approximately 25 people. In this position, you will develop and implement production schedules to efficiently use tools, plant, and equipment while aligning output with inventory needs. You will also focus on production efficiency in cooperation and harmony with other related departments. You will match our resources with demand to maximize output and minimize production costs. Additionally, you will take charge of actively support Health & Safety, Lean, and Quality operations.

In addition, your tasks will include

• Reporting on production KPIs like volume, OEE, downtimes, etc.
• Estimating resource requirements and analyzing production and operational data
• Acting as a role model of HSE and continuously improving culture and behaviors
• Managing Lean Production, Standardization, and continuous improvement studies
• Reporting progress on defined or idea projects
• 3D technical drawing and SAP literacy

What we expect from you in terms of

 Education and skills

• A bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Metallurgy Engineering.

Languages

• English and Turkish – Proficient/Fluent
• Any other language will be considered an asset

Work Experience and Knowledge

·         Several years of experience in material-based production facilities, including refractory and iron-steel plants
