Automation Systems Engineer

We are looking for a Automation Systems Engineer to be assigned at our headquarters in Maslak, Istanbul

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, Mechatronics Engineering, or related fields.
• Proven field experience in automation projects (preferably in mining, port, heavy industry, or manufacturing).
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in PLC programming (Siemens, ABB, Schneider, or similar).
• Experience with Raspberry Pi programming, Linux environments, andPython or C-based development.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, OPC UA, Ethernet/IP, etc.).
• Ability to read, interpret, and design electrical and automation schematics.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).
• Willingness to travel to field sites when required.

Requirements:

• Design, implement, and maintain automation solutions for industrial operations.
• Develop and program PLC and Raspberry Pi-based systems.
• Integrate automation solutions with existing IT/OT infrastructures.
• Conduct field installations, commissioning, and troubleshooting of automation systems.
• Collaborate closely with IT, OT, and field operation teams to ensure seamless system integration.
• Prepare and maintain system documentation, wiring diagrams, and technical reports.
• Ensure all automation projects comply with safety, reliability, and industry standards.
• Participate in IoT/IIoT projects and manage sensor integrations.
• Support SCADA/DCS system integrations and related automation architectures.
• Contribute to automation projects within the mining and port sectors as part of our digitalization initiatives.
