Barista

Aliée, the flagship luxury lifestyle hotel within the breathtaking Tersane Istanbul, is seeking intuitive and sophisticated  Barista to define the art of wellness within our sanctuary.

You will have the autonomy to deliver bespoke guest experiences that position our spa as a global destination at the intersection of culture, hospitality, and rejuvenation.

As an Aliée Barista, you are a vital guardian of our brand’s sensory identity. You won't just perform treatments; you will curate transformative journeys for a global, discerning clientele.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso-based beverages, and other hot/cold drinks in accordance with hotel standards.
• Ensure high-quality presentation of all beverages, maintaining consistency and attention to detail.
• Provide excellent guest service with a friendly, professional, and welcoming attitude.
• Take orders accurately and deliver beverages in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, including equipment and service areas.
• Ensure proper use, cleaning, and maintenance of coffee machines and related equipment.
• Follow hygiene, health, and safety regulations at all times.
• Monitor stock levels and support inventory control procedures for coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies.
• Handle guest requests and complaints professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Collaborate effectively with the service team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Barista in a hotel, café, or high-standard hospitality environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, espresso machines, and beverage presentation is required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining service quality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Guest-oriented mindset with a strong focus on service excellence.
• Good command of English; additional languages are considered an advantage.
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate with different departments.
• Flexible to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Attention to detail, responsibility, and professional appearance are required.
• Knowledge of hygiene standards and food safety practices is preferred.
