Field Application Engineer (CNC & Robotics)

Responsibilities:

• Provide application and service support for Syntec products, including CNC controllers, servo systems, robotic arms and automation solutions.
• Collaborate with customers to understand their technical needs and recommend appropriate Syntec solutions.
• Develop and implement project-based CNC software, including PLC, HMI and MACRO.
• Conduct technical training sessions for existing and potential customers.
• Provide technical support during the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting phases to ensure optimal product performance.
• Assist and perform other assignments as given by the superior as and when required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Electronic, Control&Automation or related field
• New graduates are encouraged, 1-2 years of experience is preferred
• Experience in field application engineering, field service or technical support is preferred
• Strong knowledge of factory automation products, systems and related operation and maintenance solutions
• Energetic, action-oriented, with excellent interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and self-motivation; capable of working independently
• Customer-focused with attention to detail
• Experience in CNC programming languages and familiarity with various CNC machine types is a plus
• Knowledge of 6-axis industrial robots and their programming is a plus
• Basic programming knowledge
• No obstacles to traveling both domestically and overseas
• Valid driving license, willingness to travel
• Applicant must have completed or be exempt from military service (for male applicants)
• Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory
• Chinese is a plus
