Role Description

• This position is a full-time Finance Affairs Responsible role based in Kartal / Istanbul, within the Finance Department.
• The Finance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all finance, accounting, budgeting, reporting, and cash management processes in compliance with applicable legislation and corporate policies.
• The role encompasses end-to-end financial management, covering daily accounting operations, budget planning, financial reporting, banking activities, and audit processes.
• The position works in close collaboration with General Management, Project Management, Procurement, Human Resources & Administrative Affairs, and external financial consultants.
• In addition, the role actively contributes to the monitoring, improvement, and reporting of financial processes within the scope of the Integrated Management System (IMS).
• The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical abilities, a high level of attention to detail, well-developed planning and coordination skills, and demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the ability to effectively manage multiple processes in a dynamic business environment

Qualifications

• Ensure and supervise the execution of all accounting and financial operations in accordance with Turkish Tax Legislation and the Uniform Chart of Accounts.
• Prepare monthly and annual budgets, monitor budget realizations, perform variance analyses, and report results to senior management.
• Manage cash flow operations, preparing and monitoring daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow forecasts.
• Oversee bank accounts, credit facilities, foreign currency transactions, and exchange rate revaluation processes.
• Ensure the preparation of monthly balance sheets, income statements, and financial reports, and present them to General Management.
• Plan, control, and ensure the timely execution of all payment processes, including supplier payments, payroll, advances, and expense reimbursements.
• Manage accounts receivable and payable, perform reconciliations, and oversee debt and collection processes.
• Ensure the accurate and timely execution of e-invoicing, e-archive, and e-ledger processes through Mikro ERP.
• Coordinate the preparation and submission of VAT, Withholding Tax, Stamp Tax, Provisional Tax, and other statutory declarations in cooperation with external advisors.
• Perform fixed asset management, depreciation calculations, and inventory cost controls.
• Prepare and share project-based cost and profitability analyses with relevant departments.
• Monitor accounting and invoicing processes related to import and export transactions.
• Manage internal and external audit processes, preparing required financial data and documentation.
• Lead and supervise the finance team, including task allocation, performance monitoring, and professional development.
• Within the scope of the Integrated Management System, oversee corrective actions for nonconformities, monitor process performance indicators, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements added by the job

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Public Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance and accounting roles, preferably with supervisory or team management experience
• Strong knowledge of general accounting, financial statements, budgeting, tax declarations, and cost accounting
• Advanced proficiency in Mikro ERP and MS Office applications
• Proven experience with e-invoicing, e-ledger, and ERP-based financial systems
• No travel or commute restrictions for the Kartal / Istanbul location
• Valid Class B driving license
• Strong analytical thinking, reporting capabilities, and communication skills
• Advanced English proficiency is considered an asset
