Marine Chemicals Sales Support Specialist

We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Sales Support Specialist/Executivewith an educational background on Marine/Shipping Studies (a must qualification)for our Sales & Operations Department in Tuzla / İstanbul location.

POSITION OVERVIEW

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing inside sales and sales support processes within our marine chemicals division. This includes overseeing pre- and post-sales activities, technical support, and providing exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction. QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Marine/Shipping departments,
• Fluent in both written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think strategically, solve problems, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• A proactive, analytical, and results-driven mindset.
• Team player with a flexible, cooperative attitude and self-motivation.

Nice to Have

• Experience in marine, sales/ operations activities.
• Experience in logistic operations.
• Experience in the Chemistry sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Organize and oversee all sales support activities for marine cleaning and water treatment chemicals.
• Provide comprehensive technical and operational proposals in response to customer inquiries, ensuring timely responses.
• Follow up with customers on offers, negotiate terms, and finalize sales.
• Deliver high-quality technical support to customers and internal staff regarding product usage, operations, and maintenance.
• Address customer complaints promptly, ensuring effective communication and resolution.
• Regularly report all sales support activities to the team leader and coordinator.

HOW WE WORK

• Our office is in KOSB in Tuzla/İstanbul and working hours are between 08:00 and 17:00. As we are providing service to marine sector which is active throughout the year nonstop, the sales support team need to be reachable accordingly. So, this position requires to be on standup duty on some days.
• Employee shuttle services are available from Tuzla, Pendik, Kartal, Maltepe, Çekmeköy and Ümraniye.
