This is a rare and transformative opportunity for a Food Engineer with a commercial mindset. You will not be confined to a laboratory; instead, you will sit at the very heart of the Marketing Department, serving as the strategic bridge between our R&D and Production partners and the consumer market. You will own the entire product journey—from the spark of a “kitchen table” idea to its presence on the supermarket shelf—ensuring our snacks are not only healthy and sustainable but also profitable and inspiring. In this role, you will help rewrite HUMM Organic’s story through packaging innovation, nutritional transparency, and consumer experience, shaping the future of ethical snacking.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of new products from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and consumer needs.
• Manage the product lifecycle, including planning, execution, and performance monitoring.
• End-to-end Contract Manufacturer Management, taking full ownership of quality, efficiency, and timely delivery across all stages. Conduct cost analysis and manage budgets to optimize profitability.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (R&D, production, sales, and marketing) to drive product success.
• Lead packaging innovation initiatives to develop sustainable, consumer-friendly, and brand-enhancing solutions and drive continuous improvement in packaging performance, cost efficiency, and environmental impact.
• Strong understanding of nutrition facts regulations and portion control practices, with proven ability to guide compliant and consumer-friendly packaging solutions.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to identify opportunities for innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering or related fields (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in product management, preferably in FMCG or food industry.
• Strong knowledge of product development processes and supplier management.
• Working knowledge of Food Legislation, Quality Assurance, issues management/crisis preparedness
• Comprehensive knowledge of Turkish Organic Agriculture Law and Organic certification frameworks, effectively guiding products through compliance and approval stages.
• Knowledge of food manufacturing process & environments
• Proven experience in packaging development or innovation within FMCG or related industries.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Ability to manage costs and budgets effectively.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in English
