Position Overview.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Shift Supervisor to join our prestigious team at Four Seasons Private Residences Istanbul.

This role is responsible for overseeing and executing a wide range of technical maintenance and repair operations throughout the property, ensuring resident satisfaction and operational efficiency in alignment with the Four Seasons standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities.

1. Electrical Systems.

Replace and maintain lighting fixtures, drivers, switches, sockets, and dimmers.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues in electrical panels, RCDs, and circuit breakers.

Identify and report faults in busbar distribution systems.

Diagnose and resolve faults related to electrical wiring, cables, and connections.

Participate in generator operations, fuel checks, and annual servicing.

2. Elevator & Fire Safety Systems.

Perform emergency elevator rescues and reset systems when required.

Accompany elevator service providers during inspections and maintenance.

Inspect and maintain fire suppression systems, sprinklers, fire pumps, valves, and sensors.

Conduct regular fire alarm system checks and respond to emergencies appropriately.

3. HVAC & Climate Systems.

Operate and maintain natural gas boilers, including reset and blowdown operations.

Assist with flue gas measurements and boiler service procedures.

Maintain VRF, split A/C systems, air handling units, and ventilation systems.

Replace or wash HVAC filters and ensure belt-pulley mechanisms are in working condition.

4. Plumbing & Water Systems.

Inspect and resolve issues related to sanitary piping, drainage, and water fixtures.

Operate and maintain water purification systems and chemical dosing (e.g., pH, chlorine).

Manage swimming pool water quality, backwashing, dosing systems, and robotic cleaning.

Assist with pipe welding, repairs, and valve replacements when needed.

5. Technical & Facility Support.

Conduct maintenance on motorized equipment including barriers, blinds, and shades.

Troubleshoot and reset building automation and lighting control systems.

Assist with CCTV camera setup and maintenance.

Maintain audio-visual setups in cinema rooms, meeting areas, and recreational spaces.

6. Building Maintenance & Repair.

Perform minor construction works, such as drywall repair, plastering, and painting.

Carry out light carpentry and furniture maintenance.

Assist with equipment relocations, signage installations, and visual displays.

Coordinate with pest control, waste oil collection, and façade cleaning teams.

7. Administrative & Operational Duties.

Record utility meter readings and contribute to monthly reporting.

Support preventive maintenance planning and execution.

Monitor vendor works and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Respond effectively during emergencies such as power outages, leaks, or floods.

Additional Responsibilities.

Support residents and guests with empathy, discretion, and professionalism.

Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all technical areas.

Operate elevated work platforms and install scaffolding when required.

Follow all health & safety regulations and contribute to risk-free operations.

Respect the confidentiality of all resident-related and company data.

Required Qualifications & Skills.

Technical high school or associate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, or Mechatronics.

Holds valid technical certifications (electrician license, pool operator, boiler operator, etc.).

Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in residential complexes, hotels, or hospitals.

Strong troubleshooting ability and problem-solving skills under pressure.

Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) and familiarity with building automation systems.

Willingness to work in shifts, including nights, holidays, and weekends.

Excellent communication skills and a strong team spirit.

Fluent in Turkish; basic English is a plus.
