Waiter/Waitress

Aliée, the flagship luxury lifestyle hotel within the breathtaking Tersane Istanbul, is seeking intuitive and sophisticated  Waiter / Waitress  to define the art of wellness within our sanctuary.

This is more than a role; it is an invitation to be a founding member of a newborn brand. At Aliée, wellness is where high-fashion aesthetics meet holistic healing. You will have the autonomy to deliver bespoke guest experiences that position our spa as a global destination at the intersection of culture, hospitality, and rejuvenation.

As an Aliée Waiter / Waitress, you are a vital guardian of our brand’s sensory identity. You won't just perform treatments; you will curate transformative journeys for a global, discerning clientele.

Responsibilities:

• To serve food and beverage orders,
• To provide high standard of quality and speedy service,
• To set tables for different meal periods and reset them during high turnovers,
• To send soiled and collect clean linen from laundry before and after lunch service,
• To prepare mise-en-place and perform side duties,
• To send and collect operating equipment for burnishing according to the schedules established by the Stewarding Department,
• To collect all general requisitions and food and beverage requisitions,
• To insure that the service area is kept clean and organized at all times,
• To assist in opening and closing procedures established for the outlet,
• To have a thorough understanding and knowledge of all food and beverage items in the menu,
• To ensure that the service station and surrounding area is kept clean and organized at all times,
• To monitor operating supplies and reduce spoilage, waste and breakage,
• To handle guest enquiry’s in a courteous and efficient manner.

Requirements:

• A university degree is preferred.
• Excellent reading, writing, and verbal proficiency in English is required.
• A strong understanding of hotel operations and Food & Beverage service standards is expected.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment with sensitivity to cultural differences is required.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills are expected.
• Flexibility and adaptability to a fast-paced operational environment are essential.
• A guest-oriented mindset with a strong focus on service excellence is required.
