We are currently seeking a Fixed-Term (Temporary) Logistics Specialist to be based at our factory in the Gaziemir Free Zone. This is an 11-month fixed-term position to cover a maternity leave.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities.

Processing all O.E.M. and aftermarket customer shipping documents, customs paperwork, legal documents.

Processing all procurement issues, shipping documents, customs paperwork of Aegean Free Trade Zone.

Arranging transportation for outbound shipment and to arrange inbound shipments if needed.

Define a tracking and monitoring system for all shipments.

Controls the invoices of forwarders and customs broker. reports to the revenue office.

Works with broker in order to optimize customs clearance costs such as customs overtime.

Supervisory Responsibilities.

No supervisory responsibilities; accountable for own contribution.

Requirements and Preferred Skills.

0-1 year(s) of experience in logistics department.

Bachelor's Degree in International Trade, Foreign Trade or related fields.

Must have experience in an automotive supplier environment.

SAP knowledge is required.

Must be able to balance the many schedules and tasks and communicate clearly and calmly when seeking solutions to scheduling difficulties requirements.

Must have the ability to work independently and organize the work load.

Excellent command of English.
