Industrial Engineering Senior Specialist

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of hands-on experience in industrial engineering, operations excellence, or process improvement roles, including manpower calculation and cycle time studies
• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, master’s degree is highly preferred
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); the role requires daily use of English for communication and documentation
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement tools
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (VBA is a strong plus); experience with SQL, Grafana, or similar analytics tools is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environment
• Experience in manufacturing, automotive, FMCG, or industrial sectors
• Exposure to cost analysis, budgeting, or operational controlling
• Experience working in international and multicultural teams

Job Description

• Develop and manage labor strategies (headcount management, absenteeism, overtime planning) in line with Management and Strategic Plans, including periodic revisions
• Support and align production strategies according to plant-specific variables and business requirements
• Calculate factory capacity and labor requirements for each process based on MP and SP targets
• Analyze and resolve issues related to standard time evaluations, equipment saturation, and man–machine charts
• Prepare, analyze, and report factory machinery performance and related KPIs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement technical and organizational improvement projects
• Study, develop, and implement innovative production processes within the area of responsibility
• Propose improvement actions by analyzing productivity and economic parameters to optimize the cost–benefit ratio
• Lead and support productivity monitoring and continuous improvement activities
• Execute local improvement projects in line with PMeX (Lean Manufacturing) objectives
• Analyze material and process changes related to R&D and quality improvements
• Participate in headquarters-led initiatives and interdepartmental projects
• Act as a Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen subject-matter expert, providing technical support and guidance across the organization
