Hyosung is one of the investment companies of the South Korea-based Hyosung Group. The Group started its business life with Dongyang Nylon factory in 1966 and today operates as a global company with 23 production facilities, 8 trading companies and 23 sales offices worldwide.

Hyosung Group operates in textile products such as Spandex, Nylon and Polyester; industrial materials used in tire cord, seat belts and airbags; heavy industry including motors and high voltage equipment; and chemical products such as polypropylene, TPA and optical films. In addition, the Group provides services in IT and construction sectors and produces ATM systems, storage solutions and LED products.

For our SPANDEX (Elastane Yarn) production facility located in Kapaklı / Tekirdağ, we are looking for a“Technical Research Vice Team Manager”  with the following qualifications.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Industrial Engineering,
• Good command of written and spoken English,
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in laboratory, quality or technical research processes,
• Strong experience in laboratory operations, testing, analysis and reporting,
• Proficient in MS Excel,
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills,
• Strong communication skills and team management experience,
• Team-oriented with proven leadership capability,
• Eager to develop systems and contribute to continuous improvement,
• Knowledge of ISO and Quality Management Systems is preferred,
• Experience in customer quality issue management is an asset,
• No military obligation for male candidates,
• Preferably residing in or able to relocate to Çorlu, Çerkezköy, Kapaklı or Saray.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Manage Technical Research team including Physical Laboratory, Change Management and Packaging functions,
• Ensure effective personnel management and team coordination within the department,
• Perform and oversee daily analysis of quality parameters and report results regularly,
• Ensure all laboratory testing and analysis are conducted accurately and in line with standards,
• Identify material, equipment and device needs of the department and ensure timely procurement,
• Solve technical and operational problems quickly and develop permanent solutions,
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions,
• Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with defined standards,
• Manage customer complaints and lead improvement actions based on analysis results,
• Lead research and development activities for product improvement,
• Ensure proper documentation, reporting and traceability of laboratory and quality data,
• Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems and support continuous improvement,
• Coordinate with production and other departments to maintain quality and process efficiency.
